Assessment Criteria
Grade 2 builds on foundation skills — all travel distances increase to 10m and key rotation skills (log roll) are introduced. Buoyancy aids may still be used.

- 1.Answer 2 water safety questions about the pool environment.
- 2.Enter, turn around, return to poolside.
- 3.Push and glide, swim front paddle 10m.
- 4.Push and glide, swim back paddle 10m.
- 5.Attempt breaststroke legs on front or back.
- 6.Attempt undulating movement on front or back 2m.
- 7.Submerge face and blow bubbles.
- 8.Float on back, log roll to front.
- 9.Swim 2m forward, log roll, swim 2m back, roll to vertical.
- 10.Tread water 10 seconds.
